Dog Grooming - All breeds catered for

That's right, we will do any breed of dog any size, we have worked on numerous dogs of all breeds and all shapes and sizes. We have designed our open plan grooming to be spacious, comfortable and relaxing for the dogs.

A Full groom consist of: Bathing, Clipping OR Furminating, Ear Cleaning and  Nail Clipping

Nail Clipping - No Appointment Necessary

Nail Clipping is very important for your dog, if the nails are allowed to grow too long they can break and could also curl around into the dogs paw, causing pain and bleeding. There is no appointment necessary for this service, and if you are unsure if your dogs nails need clipping, bring them in for advice.

Ear Cleaning - No Appointment Necessary

Ear Cleaning is essential to your dog and their health, the ears can harbour fur, dirt and other bacteria that builds up over time, dogs ears should be cleaned on a regular basis, as dogs can be prone to ear infections too. If you are unsure, bring in your dog, we can have a look and see if your dogs ears need cleaning, there is no need for an appointment for this service

FURminating

FURminating, is a process that is used on dogs that are moulting, these can be short coated or double coated dogs. The Process removes all of the dead fur from the root, therefore getting rid of any dead fur and loss of fur.

Hand Stripping

We are pleased to offer this service as there are few dog groomers that do. Hand Stripping is a process that involves plucking out the dead coat of the dog by hand. There are several advantages of choosing hand stripping including, protection from sun (skin and coat), reduction of allergies, maintains the natural coat of the dog. 

Dog Bathing -  No Appointment necessary

Regular bathing of long coated and double coated dogs is recommened, to keep them clean and reduce the chance of skin allergies. There is no appointment necessary for this service

De-Fleaing

If your dog has fleas, bring them to Poochie Parlour so we can wash and De-flea them, it is very important to get the problem sorted as soon as possible.

Pet Sitting

Maybe you are going away, or maybe just need Poochie Parlour to look after your beloved pet for a few hours while you go shopping, whatever the reason Poochie Parlour can help. We can look after your pet. Just call in or ring to speak to make arrangements.

Advice on pet care

Perhaps you are in need of some advice, if so we at Poochie parlour will do our best to answer your questions.

Poochie Parlour will so be able to offer Microchipping, everyone knows they love their pet and would be lost without them, microchipping is a great way to aid in finding your dog if it should happen to get lost. We will soon be offering this service.
